Metallic leather - leather with a metallic finish
Metallic leather or metallized leather is smooth leather with a metallic finish.
There are two methods for achieving this effect:
In the first method, the goal is to achieve the look of bare metal. This is achieved by applying a metallic-look film to the leather. This method is most commonly used for shoes and bags.
In the second method, the goal is to achieve only a subtle metallic effect. The leather already has a base color, onto which a top coat with metallic effects is applied. This results in leather with a metallic sheen. It is most commonly used for shoes, bags, and clothing.
